Reveal the product through motion.
I shape the pace and camera movement to introduce the product, then guide the eye toward its components.
Rabanne · Phantom, personal project
Packshot
Bring out the material.
I shape reflections and contrast to bring out the bottle’s form while preserving its details.
Frama · Herbarium, personal project
Set design
Give the setting its character.
I bring form, materials and light together to create a setting that belongs in the project’s world.
Exceptional rigor and attention to detail make all the difference. Nicolas is a pleasure to work with, professional and responsive, and he delivered exactly to the client brief. I highly recommend him!

I work freelance, directly with you. When a project needs more than one pair of hands (many shots, a tight deadline or a skill outside my expertise), I bring in trusted creatives as subcontractors and take responsibility for their work. You keep one point of contact, one quote and one invoice.
What kinds of projects do you work on?
I mainly work on 3D CGI, motion design and art direction for brands, agencies and studios: projects that call for high-end visual execution. I can lead the creative direction or deliver work within a brief from another studio.
How does your creative process work?
It starts with a clear understanding of your brief and intentions. I then explore visual references, moodboards and storyboards before building the project in Cinema 4D and Octane Render. I share work-in-progress previews so every decision is approved before the final render. The aim: no unwelcome surprises, and a result true to the original vision.
Do you use AI?
Yes, for prep work: moodboards, storyboards, refining the brief and repetitive tasks in Cinema 4D. The image or film you receive is never AI-generated: I make it in Cinema 4D and Octane Render. None of your files are sent to an AI tool without your consent. How I use AI
What do you need to get started?
A clear brief (goal, audience, deliverables and deadline), any visual references and your brand assets (logo, guidelines and files). If the project is still taking shape, that’s fine: we can define it together in an initial conversation. A 50% deposit is required when the quote is signed to start production.
What makes your approach different?
A blend of technical precision and design sensitivity. I don’t just deliver a 3D render: I consider composition, lighting, storytelling and intent. Every project is treated as a unique piece, with close attention to detail and careful execution from concept to final render. Above all, you work directly with me, without an intermediary.
How long does a project take?
It depends on complexity, but a complete CGI project typically takes 2 to 6 weeks. 3D packshots and environment visualizations can be delivered in a few days; more complex animations take longer for modeling, look development and rendering. I always share a detailed schedule before we begin.
Can I see more examples of your work?
Of course. Beyond the projects shown here, I can share more detailed case studies or references relevant to your sector on request. Some work covered by NDAs is not public but may be shown during a conversation. Contact me directly to discuss.
What are your rates?
Each project is quoted based on the brief, deliverables and resources required. As a guide, a still-image packshot runs €450–600 excl. VAT for 1 angle, or €700–1,100 excl. VAT for 3 angles. An animated packshot up to 15 s (product turntable or trajectory) runs €900–1,800 excl. VAT. Set design starts at €300 excl. VAT per image when you supply a 3D file. More complex projects are quoted, and the online estimate gives a range for yours. You receive a detailed proposal before work begins, with a 50% deposit due on signing.
Confidentiality & working arrangements
NDAs are respected, with white-label work available under your contract. If extra support is needed, I can bring in skilled freelancers under NDA, only where your contract permits subcontracting. I remain your sole point of contact.
